Tour Booking Information
How to Book a tour ? Before you book our tour we recommend that you read carefully the general details, the booking terms and conditions.
Normal Bookings : A deposit of 25% of the total trip costs is required to secure your booking by Cheques / Bank transfer / Cash and the balance payment is due 90 days prior to commencement of your trip. Motorhome Adventures require details of the customer's with fully completed booking form. Please include everything that you require with your original booking: this includes items such as American plan menu / food (Kitty), travel insurance, extensions, etc. Any changes that you subsequently make will be subject to an amendment fee of Rs.500/-. If you are not resident in India a service fee of $25/- to help offset the often substantial additional cost of post, communication and overseas marketing will be added to your invoice.
Late bookings : If your trip is less than 60 Days away, please phone first to check availability. For late bookings (less than 60 days before departure) the total travel cost is payable on booking.
Confirmation : Your booking will normally be confirmed within a week. It may take a little longer.
Final details : After we have received your final payment we will send a receipt only if you have requested one. If you live in India, if you live outside India you will collect it at the trip start point. All that remains is to go on your holiday, have a wonderful time, and send us your quality control questionnaire when you return, telling us about the good points, and any improvement that you think could be made to any aspect of the trip. All holidays in this site are operated by MOTORHOME ADVENTURES and are sold subject to the following conditions:-
To make a booking you must send us a signed Booking Form and a deposit of 25% of your selected Guided tour or Tailor-Made-Itinerary. Which you must pay not later than 90 days before departure, full payment must be made on booking. The booking is not accepted and no contract exists until the date shown on the confirmation issued by the company. Notification of cancellation must be made to the company in writing.
If you cancel your booking after you have paid in full and more than 4 weeks before your tour departure, a refund of 10% of the total cost will be made. lf you cancel less than 2 weeks before your tour departure, no refund will be made.
If you do not pay your balance at the specified time without making prior arrangements with us we reserve the right to cancel your booking or pursue any unpaid money.
We will not cancel your tour unless
(A) we are forced to do so by unusual circumstances, such as war, civil or political unrest or what is usually known as; force majeure;
(B) Because the minimum number of booking needs to operate the tour has not been reached. All tours are subjected to minimum number.
If we cancel your tour we will if possible offer an alternative tour; if this is not acceptable to you we will refund all payments made to us in respect of the tour cost, but we will not be liable to refund you for any incidental expenses that you may have incurred as a result of your booking, such as flight tickets, visas or vaccinations, or for any compensation.
Prices of holidays may be changed at any time due to increases in fuel, transport or other costs, or if government action forces us to do so.
Any information or advice provided by the Company on matters such as permits, visas, vaccinations, insurance, climate, clothing, baggage, special equipment, etc is given in good faith but without responsibility on the part of the company and the passenger accepts responsibility for obtaining any necessary travel documents required for the tour. All Indian citizens must carry valid passport or voting card or college identity card with photograph. Carrying of Rs.500/- & Rs.1000/- Notes is a punishable offence in Nepal.
Your booking is accepted on the understanding that you realize the hazards involved in this kind of guided tour, including injury, disease, loss or damage of property, inconvenience and discomfort. The whole philosophy of this type of travel is one which allows alternatives and a substantial degree of on-tour flexibility. Itinerary given for each guided tour must therefore be taken as an indication of what each group should accomplish, and not as a contractual obligation on the part of MOTORHOME ADVENTURES. Change in itinerary may be caused by local political conditions, weather, border restrictions, sickness, mechanical breakdown or other unforeseeable circumstances. No refunds will be given for services not utilized. It is a fundamental condition of joining any of the guided tours described in this site that you accept this flexibility, and acknowledge that delays and alterations and their results, such as inconvenience, discomfort or disappointment are possible.
On an adventurous tour it is necessary that you abide by the authority of the leader/driver, which represents the company. Signing our booking form signifies your agreement to this, and if you commit any illegal act on the tour which would cause danger, distress or annoyance to others, we may terminate your travel arrangements without any liability on our part. If you are affected by any condition, medical or otherwise, that might affect your or other people's enjoyment of the tour; you must advise us of this at the time of booking.
If you have any complaint about the tour, you should make it known at the earliest opportunity to the leader, who will normally be able to take appropriate action. If you are not satisfied with his response and you feel your enjoyment of the tour is likely to be significantly affected, you should notify our head office in Delhi, India and we will do our best to resolve the problem.
The Company will accept liability for the negligence of its own employees causing direct physical injury to passengers only to the extent under Indian law. We cannot be held responsible for any other mishap to yourself or your property, and in particular for the consequences or effects of strikes, wars, robbery, sickness, mechanical breakdown, quarantine, Government intervention or other such happenings. Passengers travelling on vehicles owned by Motorhome Adventures are covered by third party property damage liability insurance only and by signing our booking Form you acknowledge that the Company has taken all reasonable steps to safeguard its liability in this respect. Passengers are strongly advised to insure yourself.
Other Information
Age : We cannot accept bookings from unaccompanied minors, although we can sometime take accompanied older teenagers depending on their experience and the suitability of the trip. We do not have a strict upper age limit, but as these are by nature adventurous active holidays and all contain elements that require a certain level of fitness and mobility, you must be certain that you are capable of fully participating in the activities. In certain circumstances we may require reasonable proof of suitability before accepting a booking for a particular trip
ON YOUR TRIP
Baggage on trip : On few trips there are restrictions as to the type and weight of baggage that you can bring; on trips where it is not possible to take a suitcase you will need to have a soft bag or back-pack; the Pre-Departure information will advise you on this. Generally you can take whatever type of bag you wish. Just make sure that you don't take too much and that your bag will protect your belongings and stand up to rough treatment.
On-trip services : On all trips the staffs are there to help if you need any special assistance. Motorhoming and Camping trips tend to be more participatory than hotel-based trips. On some we have camp helpers to do the work, and you will not be expected to do any helping, but on most trips you will need to help by putting up your own tent, and sometimes also by joining a cooking or shopping Rota. And it all adds to your experience.
Camping equipment : Where camping equipment is needed, all the communal items are supplied by MOTORHOME ADVENTURES, including two/four person tents (Dome or Alpine) with sewn-in ground sheets and flysheets, all cooking and eating utensils, stools and toilet tents. On each trip we provide freshly laundered Bed-linens, Sleeping bags of high standards. There are some other personal items which may be useful, such as a pair of walking boots, a warm jacket and a day pack. Specific requirements are given in the Pre-Departure Information for each trip.
Clothing : On most trips light, comfortable casual clothes are all that is needed, plus cold and wet weather protection. More details are given in the Pre-Departure Information.
All cancellations must be in writing.
CANCELLATIONS: Once a booking has been confirmed and a deposit paid the booking is considered live and is subject to the cancellation policy.
No refunds for cancellations made after the travel or travel date has commenced. Early return of motorhome for any reason and for pre-booked kilometers, whatsoever after travel has commenced no refund is available.

Jurisdiction
These terms of use, which are subject to Indian law, contain the entire agreement between us with respect to our site. No part of these terms & conditions are intended to constitute an exclusion of any liability which cannot be excluded under Indian law.
Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the Indian laws. Any dispute will be settled in the court of Delhi, India, only.
